Care

Baroque pearls are organic, and like anything real, they change. Over time, they may develop fine scratches or shift slightly in color. This is normal and part of their nature.

We don’t believe jewelry should be hidden away or treated like it’s too fragile to wear. Our pieces are meant to be lived in. But if you want to keep them looking as close to their original state as possible, try to avoid contact with water that contains harsh chemicals — like chlorine, heavy metals, or cleaning agents.

It might sound strange since pearls come from the water, but it’s not pure water that causes damage. It’s the chemicals, variance in pH levels, and pollutants found in tap water, pools, and even certain skincare products. To protect your pieces, avoid exposure to these and store them separately to prevent surface marks.
